<p>President Obama, upon entering office, promised to make a difference by placing checks on the influence of lobbyists and ushering in greater accountability. <p>And now, after the government has allotted $200 billion to the banking system and with just a hundred days left in the financial-industry bailout program that&#8217;s lasted six months so far, Mr. Geithner has yet to fulfill his promise.</p>
<p>I guess that&#8217;s change we can just keep believing in&#8230;</p>
